Mobile phone radiation and health

Okay kiddo, so you know how your mobile phone helps you to call your friends, play games, and watch videos? Well, it does this by sending and receiving signals through waves of energy that we can't see, called electromagnetic radiation. Now, some people are worried that these waves of energy might be bad for our health.

Scientists have been studying this for a long time, and they have come to a few conclusions. One is that the type of radiation that comes from mobile phones is non-ionizing, which means it doesn't have enough energy to break apart molecules and damage cells like other types of radiation, such as X-rays.

However, some studies have shown that being exposed to this radiation for a long time, like years and years, might make it more likely for someone to get cancer or other diseases. That's why your mommy and daddy might tell you to not play with your phone for too long, or put it on speakerphone or use headphones when calling friends.

So, while we do not have concrete evidence that mobile phone radiation is bad for us, it is still a good idea to use our phones wisely and not to overuse it.
