Moblin project

The Moblin project was a software project that focused on creating software (like an operating system) for mobile devices, like phones, tablets and even laptops. It was created to make sure that these devices had software that was fast, secure and easy to use. The project was funded by Intel and started in 2006. The project ended in 2010 because Intel decided to focus on other projects.
