Modeling language is like a way for computers to understand what you want them to do. It is like a set of instructions written in a special kind of language that computers understand. It can help computers take in information, process it, and give back the results you wanted. For example, if you wanted to know how much ice cream you have in your freezer, you could write a modeling language that would tell the computer to look in your freezer, count all the ice cream there, and let you know how much you have.
