Molar mass

Molar mass is like a way to measure the weight of things, like a ruler for measuring height. Just like a ruler is really specific (you can use it to measure to the nearest millimeter), molar mass lets us measure the weight of tiny particles like atoms or molecules very accurately. It's measured in a unit called 'grams per mole'. That means that if something has a molar mass of 1, it means it's weight is one gram for every mole of it, where a mole is just a measurement of how many of those tiny particles you have.
