ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Money supply

Money supply is like a big bucket of coins and bills that a government or bank has. People can go to the government or bank and ask for some of the coins and bills so that they can buy things. The government or bank can also give more coins and bills to the people if they need to buy more things. Different governments or banks might have different amounts of coins and bills in their bucket. So, different countries or regions may have different amounts of money supply.
