Monodrama

So imagine you are playing make-believe all by yourself, and you are the only character in your story. You are the hero and the villain, the funny person and the serious one. That's what monodrama is! It's a kind of play where only one person acts out all the characters and tells the story. Think of it like a one-person show where the actor or actress has to do everything themselves, from changing their voice to putting on different costumes.

Sometimes the story in a monodrama is sad or serious, like someone telling their life story, and other times it can be funny and silly, like a person pretending to be different animals.

It takes a lot of skill to do a monodrama because the person acting has to make you believe that there are many different characters in the story even though it's just one person performing. But if done well, a monodrama can be really awesome to watch!
