Monolithic church

Okay kiddo, so a monolithic church is a special kind of church that is made up of just one big stone structure. Imagine building a house with just one giant block of stone!

This type of church was really popular a long long time ago, especially in places like ancient Rome. People liked the way it looked and how strong it was - it can resist earthquakes and other things that could make a regular church building fall down.

But building a monolithic church was no easy task. It took a lot of hard work by a team of skilled builders, and sometimes it would take years and years to finish just one building.

Today, you can still see some monolithic churches around the world. They are considered masterpieces of architecture and engineering, and they remind us of how creative and determined people can be when they want to create something amazing.
