Mont Blanc

Okay, so imagine a really big and tall mountain that's covered in snow all year long. That's Mont Blanc! Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the European Union and it's located in a place called the Alps, which is a big snowy range of mountains that's really famous for skiing and hiking.

Now let's pretend that we're climbing up this mountain. It's really hard to climb Mont Blanc because it's so tall and cold up there, but people do it all the time because it's really cool and fun. When you get to the very top of Mont Blanc, you can see for miles and miles around you. It's like you're on top of the whole world!

Even though Mont Blanc is a really cool mountain to climb, it's also really important for the environment. Lots of animals live around Mont Blanc, like mountain goats and eagles. The snow on the mountain is also really important for the rivers and lakes that people get their water from.
