Monte Carlo localization

Monte Carlo Localization is a type of navigation system that sometimes is used in robots. It helps a robot learn how to figure out where it is and how to get to where it wants to go. It usually uses information from sensors and light to make a map of where the robot is, and then it uses that map to figure out where it should go. It's like a robot's version of a GPS.
