Montenegro

Montenegro is a small country in Europe that used to be part of another bigger country called Yugoslavia. It's very pretty and has lots of mountains, which are like really big hills.

Montenegro has a population of just over 600,000 people, which is like having 60 big schools all in one place! Most people there speak Montenegrin, which is a language that's similar to Serbian, another language spoken in the area.

The capital city of Montenegro is called Podgorica and it has lots of cool places to visit like museums, parks, and ancient buildings. They even have their own royal palace!

Montenegro is also famous for its beaches and turquoise blue water, which are like a big swimming pool. Lots of people like to visit there during the summer to swim and play on the sandy beaches.

Even though Montenegro is a small country, it's still important because it's an independent country that has its own government, laws, and economy. This means that they get to make their own decisions about how to run things without anyone else telling them what to do.
