Monticello

Monticello is a big house that used to belong to a very important man a long time ago named Thomas Jefferson. He was really smart and even helped write a really important document called the Declaration of Independence.

The house has lots of rooms and fancy things inside like big paintings and furniture. It also has a really nice garden outside with pretty flowers and vegetables that Thomas Jefferson grew himself.

Nowadays, lots of people go to visit Monticello to learn about Thomas Jefferson and how he lived. They can even walk through the rooms and see all the cool stuff he had. It’s like going back in time to see what life was like a really long time ago!
