MoonRise

Okay kiddo, you know how the Sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening? Well, the Moon also rises and sets just like the Sun. When the Moon starts to rise, it means it's coming up from below the horizon and we can see it in the sky. We call this moonrise. The time of moonrise can be different depending on where you are in the world and what time of year it is. Sometimes the Moon rises during the day and we can't see it until it's higher in the sky. Other times it rises at night and we can see it as soon as it pops up. It's pretty cool to watch and you can even see how the Moon changes shape every night!
