Moroccan Division (France)

Okay kiddo, let's talk about how a country called France used to control another country called Morocco. This happened a long time ago when Morocco was called a French protectorate, which means France was in charge and made decisions for Morocco.

During this time, Morocco was divided into different regions or parts, just like how a pie can be divided into slices. These regions were called "divisions" and they were named after the cities or towns in those areas.

So, imagine that Morocco was like a pie, and France wanted to control and manage all of it. They decided to divide Morocco into different parts, or slices of the pie, called Moroccan divisions (or "divisions marocaines" in French).

France did this so they could easily control and manage the different parts of Morocco. Each division had its own local government that reported to the French authorities, or the people in charge from France.

France controlled Morocco in this way for many years, but eventually Morocco gained its independence and became its own country again. Nowadays, Moroccan divisions don't exist anymore - they were just a way for France to control and organize Morocco a long time ago.
