ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Motion blindness

Motion blindness can make it hard to 'see' things moving around you. It is like you are watching a movie but the fast-moving parts look blurry or fuzzy and you can't tell what is happening. Imagine you're standing outside and a car drives by. With motion blindness, the car may look like it's just a blurry, fast-moving shape. It could be hard to tell what color it is or what it looks like. Motion blindness can also make it hard to follow a conversation because you may not be able to follow the lips of the person talking.
