Motion camouflage

Do you know how animals like cheetahs and lions can catch their prey? They use something called camouflage, which is when they blend in with their environment so their prey can't see them coming.

But what if I told you there is something called motion camouflage? That means when an animal is moving, even if it's very visible and easy to see, it can still be hard to catch because its movements are very quick and unpredictable.

Imagine playing a game of hide-and-seek, but instead of just staying still in one hiding spot, you move around without your friends being able to tell where you are going next. That's what motion camouflage is like for animals hunting or trying to avoid being caught by predators.

It's kind of like when you play tag and you quickly move back and forth trying to avoid the person who is "it". The faster and less predictable your movements, the harder it is for them to catch you.

In short, motion camouflage is a type of camouflage where an animal's quick and unpredictable movements make it hard to catch, even if it's easy to see.
