Motion vector

Okay, motion vector is like when you play a game of tag!

Imagine you are playing tag with your friends in a big field, and you are running to try and catch them. The path you run is called a motion vector.

But what does that mean? Well, a motion vector is a type of mathematical equation that helps us understand how things move in cartoons, videos, or other types of animations.

Just like your body moves around the field to try and catch your friends, objects in videos or cartoons can move too! And we can use motion vectors to keep track of how they move.

So, imagine a ball moving across a screen in a cartoon. A motion vector would help us know where the ball started, where it's going, and how fast it's moving.

This is how animators make your favorite characters move in movies, TV shows, and video games! By using motion vectors, they can create realistic movements that look as if they're happening in the real world.
