Motional Feedback

Motional feedback is when a machine that moves or vibrates can use sensors to monitor its own movement, and adjust its behavior based on that monitoring.

Imagine you are riding a bicycle with a parent holding on to the back of the seat (for stability). As you start to lose your balance to one side, your parent can feel your weight start to shift, and can use that information to adjust their grip on the seat and help you stay upright.

Similarly, a machine that moves, like a speaker or a record player, can use sensors to detect the movement it creates (sound waves, in the case of a speaker). If it detects any unwanted movement, it can make adjustments to its own behavior to reduce that movement and create a better sound.

So, motional feedback is like having a parent on your bicycle, but for machines that move or vibrate. It helps them stay stable and perform better.
