Mountain Institution

So kiddo, a mountain institution is kind of like a special place that people go to when they want to learn about the mountains. Imagine going to a big school but instead of classrooms and teachers inside a building, you're outside in the mountains!

At a mountain institution, you can learn all about the different animals and plants that live in the mountains, how to climb up and down steep paths safely, and even how to do special things like ski down snowy slopes or hike for hours and hours.

It's sort of like going to school, except instead of books you use your eyes and ears and hands to learn all about the amazing things that the mountains have to teach us. Some mountain institutions are even located in cabins or lodges and you get to sleep under the starry sky at night!
