ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mouse chording

Mouse chording is like playing a piano with your fingers, but instead of playing music, you use it to control your computer. You know how when you press one white key on the piano, it makes a sound, and when you press another white key at the same time, it makes a different sound? That's similar to how mouse chording works.

A mouse usually has two buttons, a left button and a right button. With mouse chording, you can press both buttons at the same time to create different actions on your computer. For example, you can press the left button and the right button at the same time (like playing two notes on a piano), and the computer will do something different than if you just press the left button or the right button alone.

Using mouse chording can help you complete tasks on your computer more quickly and easily because you can do things with fewer clicks. It's like a shortcut for your mouse!
