Mousetrapping

Mousetrapping is when a website or app makes it difficult for you to navigate away from it or close it. It will often send you lots of ads or notifications that you have to click out of one before you can finally leave the website or close the app. It's like a mouse getting mousetrapped in a mouse trap - it can't get out until someone comes and rescues it!
