Mouth breathing

Breathing is very important for us humans. We breathe through our nose or our mouth. When we breathe through our nose, the air gets filtered, warmed, and moistened before it goes into our lungs.

Mouth breathing means we breathe through our mouth instead of our nose. It can happen when our nose is stuffy because of a cold or allergies, or because of a physical problem like a deviated septum.

When we breathe through our mouth, the air doesn't get filtered, warmed or moistened like it does when we breathe through our nose. This means that the air going into our lungs is not as good, and can make us more likely to get sick.

Mouth breathing can also cause problems with our teeth and gums, and can make our mouth and throat feel dry.

If you find yourself mouth breathing, it is important to try to breathe through your nose instead. This will help you stay healthy and feel better overall.
