Moving the Earth

Moving the earth means changing the way the planet is spinning, or the way the planet is rotating. Think of a record or CD spinning round on a turntable. The earth is always spinning on its axis, which means it's like one super big record that's spinning round and round. If we could find a way to make the earth spin faster or slower or even change its direction, that would be moving the earth! Unfortunately, scientists haven't figured out a way to do this yet.
