Murakami–Yano formula

The Murakami-Yano formula is a mathematical equation that helps people find out how much twisting or turning is happening in a curved space.

Okay, so, imagine you're on a playground slide. As you slide down, you can see yourself turning and twisting a bit. That is like what happens when you are in a curved space. And just like on the slide, it can be hard to figure out exactly how much you're twisting and turning.

That's where the Murakami-Yano formula comes in. It helps you figure out how much twisting and turning is happening in a curved space, kind of like a map.

Now, this formula can be really complicated, with lots of letters and symbols that might not make sense to you yet. But that's okay! It's kind of like a secret code that only grown-up math wizards can understand. Just know that it's really helpful for figuring out how much we're twisting and turning when we're in a curved space.
