ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Mute English

Okay, so you know how sometimes people talk too much or say things that you don't want to hear? Well, muting English is like telling the English language to be quiet so you don't have to hear it. It's like when you put your hands over your ears and say "la la la" to block out sounds you don't like. Except with mute English, you're not physically blocking your ears, you're just using a special button or setting on your computer, phone, or TV to turn off the sound or captions in the English language. This can be helpful if you're trying to focus on something else or if you don't want to listen to English for whatever reason. Does that make sense?
