Mycena nargan

Mycena nargan is a type of small mushroom that grows in certain areas around the world.

It starts as a tiny, greenish-gray ball that is almost invisible to the naked eye. As it grows, it expands into a small, delicate stem with a cap on top. The cap can be different colors, but it's usually either dark brown or black.

Mycena nargan is special because it has bioluminescent properties, which means it glows in the dark. If you were to walk through a forest at night and see one of these mushrooms, it would look like a tiny, twinkling star on the ground. This is because of a chemical called luciferin that's found inside the mushroom. When the mushroom is disturbed or feels pressure, it releases the luciferin, which then interacts with another chemical called luciferase, causing the mushroom to glow.

Despite their beauty, mycena nargan isn't safe to eat because it could make you very sick. It's important to remember that not all mushrooms are safe to eat, even if they look pretty. It's always best to leave mushroom collecting to people who know what they're doing.
