ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Nāradasmṛti

Okay, so imagine there was a really wise person named Narada who lived a long time ago in India. He wrote down a bunch of things he learned about how people should act and how society should work. His writings were called the Naradasmriti.

In it, Narada talked about things like how to be good to other people (like not stealing or hurting them), how to get along with others in your community (like respecting your elders), and how to rules should be made for the whole society (like how kings should make fair laws and punish bad people).

Basically, the Naradasmriti is like a super old book of rules for how people should behave and how society should work in India. People still study it today to learn about their history and culture.
