NASICON

Imagine you have a toy building block that is made up of little parts called atoms. These atoms are like tiny balls that fit together to make the block. Now imagine that instead of a toy block, scientists have made a special kind of block called nasicon.

Nasicon is made up of three different kinds of atoms: sodium, titanium, and phosphate. These atoms are arranged in a specific way that creates a structure that has tiny spaces in between the atoms, kind of like the holes in a sponge.

Scientists have found that nasicon can be very useful because these tiny spaces can be filled with other things, like other atoms or molecules. This can make nasicon really good at storing or transporting substances, like electricity or special drugs, and even be used in some batteries.

In short, nasicon is like a really smart building block, made up of special atoms that can be used for lots of important things!
