Noc is the nickname for a beluga whale who was trained by people to copy human talking sounds! Beluga whales usually talk in high-pitched noises and clicks, but Noc was able to change his voice and make sounds that sound like the words that people say.
Noc was able to mimic human sounds by blowing air through his nose and mouth to make vibrations. He would listen carefully to the people around him and practice making their sounds until he could copy them perfectly.
Even though Noc was very good at copying sounds, he was still a whale and had other important things to do like swimming in the ocean, playing with other whales, and eating fish. So, his handlers didn't want to keep teaching him how to talk like a person and eventually stopped practicing with him.
Despite this, Noc still amazed people with his talent and showed that even animals can learn to do amazing things if they practice and are guided by humans who care for them!
