NORAC

"Norac" is a system that helps big boats steer safely in the water. Imagine you're playing with a toy boat in a bathtub. You want to make it go straight, but sometimes it drifts or turns too much. Well, big boats have the same problem, but it can be very dangerous because they are so much bigger and heavier than your toy boat in the bathtub.

That's where Norac comes in. It has special sensors that can tell how the boat is moving in the water, like where it's pointing and how fast it's going. The system uses this information to tell the boat's steering system how to move to keep the boat on course.

It's kind of like a teacher guiding a student. Just like how a teacher helps the student stay on the right track, Norac helps the boat stay on the right course. This way, the boat can avoid crashing into other boats, rocks or other obstacles in the water, and stay safe.
