NT LAN Manager

Okay kiddo, have you ever played a game where you need a secret password to get in? Well, computers also have a password system called NT LAN Manager, or NTLM for short.

NTLM helps make sure only the right people can access certain parts of the computer. It works by asking you for a username and password when you try to get into a certain place. It then checks if your username and password match what it has on record.

NTLM is used a lot in business settings where lots of people need to have access to different parts of the computer. It helps keep everything organized and secure. Think of it like a big gate with a guard who only lets in the right people who have the right password.
