Nabidh is a yummy drink made in the olden days by our great-great-great-grandparents. They used to take some fresh dates, add water to it and let it soak for a few hours. Then they mashed the dates and mixed it with the water, which made a brownish liquid. That liquid was called Nabidh!
It was very popular in hot countries because it tastes sweet and refreshing. Plus, it was one of the few ways they had to keep themselves hydrated.
Even though we have fancy drinks now, some people still like to make Nabidh the same way our ancestors did because it is still yummy and good for us. So next time you have some dates lying around, ask your parents to make Nabidh with you!
