Nansen passport

Okay kiddo, have you heard of something called a passport? It's a special ID card that people need to travel to other countries. But did you know that before passports, there was something called the Nansen Passport?

You see, a long time ago, there was a big war that caused many people to flee their homes and seek a safe place to live. It was called World War I. After the war ended, there were still many people who had nowhere to go and no country to call their own. They were called refugees.

A man named Fridtjof Nansen wanted to help these refugees by creating a special kind of passport that would allow them to travel and find a new home. He worked with many countries to make it happen.

The Nansen Passport was like a super passport that could be used by refugees who didn't have a normal passport. It had their photo and personal information, and it was recognized by many countries. With it, refugees could travel to different countries to find a new home without being harassed or turned away.

Today, the Nansen Passport isn't used anymore, but it was an important part of history that showed how people can come together to help those in need.
