Okay kiddo, do you like fried chicken? I know I sure do! Did you know that there is a special day for fried chicken? It's called National Fried Chicken Day, and it happens every year on July 6th.
This day is a time for people to celebrate and enjoy delicious fried chicken with their friends and family. But, do you know how fried chicken is made?
First, you take some pieces of chicken, usually the drumstick or thigh, and dip them into a mixture of flour and spices, like salt, pepper, and paprika. Then, you drop them into a pot or fryer filled with hot oil.
The hot oil slowly cooks the chicken, making the outside crispy and golden brown, while the inside stays tender and juicy. Yum!
There are so many different ways to enjoy fried chicken – some people like it spicy with hot sauce, while others enjoy it with honey or gravy.
So, if you love fried chicken as much as I do, be sure to celebrate National Fried Chicken Day on July 6th!
