National Hockey League

The National Hockey League (NHL) is a professional sports league in North America made up of 31 teams. Each team has a group of players from all over the world who play hockey. Hockey is a sport where players skate across the ice trying to shoot a small rubber puck into their opponent's goal. At the end of the season, the team with the most points (wins) is the champion. The NHL has teams in the United States and Canada and games are held all over the two countries. People can watch the games on TV and cheer for their favorite team.
