National archives

National archives are like a big library for important things that people want to keep safe for a long, long time. All kinds of documents, photos, and other pieces of history get stored in the national archives so we can remember them forever. People in charge take extra good care of all this stuff so it can stay safe for a really really long time. That way we all get to remember things from long ago!
