Nativity of Jesus in later culture

So a long, long time ago, over 2,000 years ago, a baby boy named Jesus was born to a woman named Mary in Bethlehem. This event, which happened on a special day called Christmas, is called the Nativity of Jesus.

But this event didn't just happen and then disappear. It had a really big impact on later cultures. People still celebrate Christmas today to remember and honor the Nativity of Jesus.

There are lots of stories, songs, movies, and artwork that talk about the Nativity of Jesus. You might have seen a play or a movie where people dress up like Mary, Joseph, the wise men, and the shepherds and pretend to be part of this story.

Many people also believe that the Nativity of Jesus was a really important event that changed the world. They believe that Jesus was born to become a special kind of leader who would teach people about loving and serving others, and that his birth was a sign of hope and peace for all of humankind.

So even though the Nativity of Jesus happened a very long time ago, it is still important to many people today and continues to be a part of our culture and traditions.
