Naturalist computationalism is a way of thinking about how minds work that tries to explain why thinking and learning happen the way they do with the help of evolutionary biology. It looks at the various parts of our brains and how their evolution has led to different functions, such as understanding language and doing math. It also looks at the way our brains form memories and the way we process information from the world around us. In essence, naturalist computationalism tries to explain why we think and learn the way we do by looking at our biology.
