Nehru Report

Okay kiddo, so the Nehru Report was a very important document made by Indian leaders back in the year 1928. You know how India used to be ruled by the British and people wanted to become free from British rule, right?

So, these Indian leaders got together and made this report to suggest ways to change the political system of India. They wanted India to be a free country with people from different religions and communities living together happily.

The Nehru Report had different proposals for how India should be governed if it became independent. Some of the important suggestions were that there should be separate electorates for different religious communities and that Hindi should become the national language of India.

But not everyone was happy with the Report. Some people felt that it did not do enough to protect the rights of minorities and give them a fair representation in the government. This led to disagreements and debates among the leaders and eventually, a new report called the "Fourteen Points" was made to address these concerns.

In short, the Nehru Report was a blueprint created by Indian leaders for India's future political system, but it was not perfect and had some flaws that needed to be addressed.
