Nested Neutron Spectrometer

A nested neutron spectrometer is a type of device that can measure how fast neutrons (tiny particles inside atoms) are moving. It works by having two layers of materials (called "layers") that are arranged in a circle around the neutrons. The first layer is made of a material that slows down the neutrons, while the second layer is made of a material that speed up the neutrons. By using two different layers, the spectrometer can measure how fast the neutrons are going.
