ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

NetFlow

Netflow is like a detective who watches what goes in and out of a computer network. Just like a detective watches people and cars coming and going in a neighborhood, Netflow watches the traffic on a network. It looks at things like who is sending messages, where they are sending them, how much data they are sending and what kind of data it is. This helps the people in charge of the network figure out if something bad is happening, like someone trying to hack into the network or send too much data. Netflow helps keep the network safe and working smoothly.
