A neural network is an intelligent computer program that can learn to do things by studying examples. It does this by using a large number of very simple maths calculations, called neurons. Each neuron takes in some information, like what you see or hear, and works out how to make decisions based on it. When the network has enough information, it will be able to make decisions on its own, or “think” just like a human. For example, a neural network could be used to recognize objects in a picture, like animals or cars, or to understand human language.
