NeuroEvolution of Augmenting Topologies

Neuroevolution of augmenting topologies is a way of making computers smarter by teaching them how to learn on their own. It works by making a special type of computer program called an artificial neural network. This network is made up of connected "nodes" that act like tiny processors, each trying to solve a small part of a problem. By linking these nodes together, the computer can work out how to solve a bigger problem. Neuroevolution of augmenting topologies tries to make the computer learn by itself by continuously updating the connections between the nodes. This way, the computer can adapt to new problems and gradually become more intelligent over time.
