New England Fuel Institute

Okay kiddo, so the New England Fuel Institute (NEFI) is a group of grown-ups who work together to make sure people in New England have warm houses and hot water to take baths in.

They do this by helping companies that deliver oil, propane, and other types of fuel to homes and businesses in New England. These companies are called fuel dealers. NEFI helps the fuel dealers share information and learn from each other so they can do their jobs better and keep people warm and safe.

NEFI also talks to the government and other important people to make sure they know what fuel dealers need to do their jobs right. They work to make sure the fuel dealers have good rules to follow and the people who use fuel are protected.

Basically, NEFI helps fuel dealers do their job well and make sure people have the fuel they need to stay cozy and safe.
