Nibelungs
Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes there are stories about treasure that people go on adventures to find? Well, the Nibelungs are characters in a story like that. There are two brothers named Nibelung and Schilbung and they come across a treasure of gold in a river. This treasure is so special because it belongs to some magical creatures called dwarves who have special powers and can make things with their hands.
Nibelung and Schilbung steal the treasure and it causes a lot of drama because the dwarves are very angry that their treasure is gone. The story goes on to involve a dragon, a magic sword, a beautiful woman named Kriemhild, and many battles between people who want the treasure for themselves.
Basically, the Nibelungs are the guys who stole the treasure and started this whole adventure, but it ended up causing a lot of trouble for them and others around them. So, the moral of the story is that stealing isn't okay and sometimes things that seem like they will bring happiness can actually cause a lot of problems.
