Nibiru (Babylonian astronomy)
Nibiru is something that some people believe in but scientists generally do not. According to ancient Babylonian astronomers, Nibiru was supposed to be a planet that passed by Earth every few thousand years. Some people today believe that Nibiru is real and that it will cause catastrophic events on Earth when it passes by.
However, there is no scientific evidence to support the existence of Nibiru. Many astronomers have searched for evidence of it and have found none. In fact, the laws of physics and our understanding of how the solar system works make it very unlikely that there could be a planet like Nibiru that orbits our sun and passes by Earth.
So even though some people believe in Nibiru, most scientists think it is just a myth.
