ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Nippers

Nippers are like scissors that are specially designed to cut things like nails.

Do you remember how grown-ups use big scissors to cut paper? Well, nippers are like tiny scissors but they're not for paper! They're used to cut things like your nails, horse hooves, or wires!

Nippers have two handles that you hold with your hands. At the end of each handle, there is a special cutting blade that moves together. When you squeeze the handles together, the blades close and cut whatever is between them.

So just like when you cut paper with scissors, you have to be careful when using nippers! You wouldn't want to accidentally nip your fingers or hold on too tightly.

Overall, nippers are special scissors that are used to cut things like nails, horse hooves, wires, and other tough materials. They have two handles and two cutting blades that close when you squeeze the handles together.
