ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Nirmala (sect)

Okay kiddo, so imagine that there are different groups of people who believe in different things. One group is called Nirmala, and they have their own beliefs and practices that are different from other groups. They mostly live in Nepal and follow a religion called Hinduism.

In the Nirmala group, they believe strongly in the power of meditation and yoga to connect with their gods and goddesses. They also believe in the idea of karma, which means that your actions in this life will affect your next life. So, they try to do good things and avoid doing bad things to have a better future life.

They have their own special rituals and ceremonies that they perform, like taking holy baths in certain rivers and fasting on certain days. They also have certain foods that they can't eat, like beef, because they believe it's sacred to their religion.

So, just like you have your own way of doing things at home or school, the Nirmala people have their own way of living and worshiping that makes them unique and special.
