ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

No-communication theorem

The no-communication theorem means that two separated objects cannot instantly communicate with each other, no matter how far apart they are. It's kind of like when you play the game of telephone and pass a message around the circle. Sometimes the message gets mixed up and isn't the same by the time it gets to the end of the circle. When two objects are separated, there is no way for them to talk to each other without sending messages, and these messages can take a long time to get from one object to the other. In the world of physics, this is known as the "speed of light limit," and it means there is a speed limit on how fast any message can travel. So even if two objects are very far apart, they can't talk to each other faster than the speed of light allows. This makes it tough to communicate information or take action over long distances, but it also helps keep the universe working as it should!
