ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

No-pan kissa

Okay kiddo, so you know how people like to go to cafes to have some coffee or tea and maybe some snacks while they relax or do some work on their laptops? Well, in Japan, there are some cafes called "no-pan kissa" which means "no-panties cafe".

In these cafes, which are usually only for adults, the servers wear short skirts and, well, no underwear. Customers can sit and enjoy their drinks while looking up their skirts, but they're not allowed to touch or take pictures.

Now, it's important to understand that this behavior is not appropriate or respectful towards the servers, and it's not something that should be encouraged or normalized. It's important to treat people with respect and dignity, and not objectify them. So, let's stick to regular cafes and treat everyone with kindness and respect, okay?
