Nob, Israel

Nob was a very old place in Israel where people used to live a long time ago. It was a small town where people would do their everyday things like grow crops, take care of animals, and have families. In the Bible, it was mentioned that a man named Saul and his soldiers went to Nob to talk to a priest named Ahimelech. The priest helped Saul and his soldiers by giving them food and a sword to use in battle. But, Saul became angry and hurt the people living in Nob because he thought they were helping his enemies. It's said that the town was destroyed and the people were punished because of what Saul did. So, even though Nob was a peaceful place before, it was sadly destroyed because of the actions of one angry man.
